Who is Morning Consult?
Morning Consult is a global data intelligence company established in 2014. It was named one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte in both 2018 and 2019 and was valued at more than one billion dollars in June 2021.
We interviewed the project lead from Morning Consult to learn about the goals, process and outcome of their project.
The Reason Behind the Merch
Our Merch is generally purchased as staff “swag” items or curated semi-branded client gifts. Our goal is always to recognize folks who have helped us get to where we are as a company and highlight the Morning Consult brand in a well thought and generally subtle way. We never want anything to be “in your face” or not useful. We try to stick to well made items that usually are products of our clients.

What was your favorite part of the process?
I am generally just a huge fan of the team and their willingness to work with me to create unique gifts that don’t feel overly branded or kitschy.

The Outcome
Our clients are our biggest supporters and when they receive a product we have collaborated with you all on and we see them sporting their MC gear during calls (without asking or even knowing they like it) it’s always a great feeling. We love knowing we have given them something they look forward to wearing and that they are openly advertising Morning Consult without even thinking about it is definitely a cherry on top. It feels good to know you have provided a product that doesn’t just sit in a drawer or in the back of a closet, seeing them use it without prompting is amazing.
